After a mid-day crossing with eurotunnel we will make our way to our first nights stay at Reims.
Following a good night’s rest we continue to our destination, a centrally located hotel in Nurnberg for four nights with numerous museums and the old city to explore. We then move to our Hotel in the Black Forest for two nights where our host is a keen biker. The roads and scenery really are fantastic in this part of Germany. You are free to explore on your own, join one of our optional rideouts to Baden Baden, Strasbourg, Freibourg or just explore some of the exceptional local roads by yourself. Alternatively you can just relax in the local bars and restaurants.
Note:
We will use the motorway network to facilitate frequent comfort breaks and petrol stops for those of us with small tanks and limited range. It is worth remembering we have chosen this route as lots of French rural garages are not open at weekends and are therefore assured of fuel when we require it.
