Highest mileages 350 on outward and return journey.

After an early morning crossing with eurotunnel we will make our way to Orleans for our first nights stay, we will also spend our last night here on the return journey.

Following a good nights rest we continue to our destination where the roads and scenery just don’t come any better. Forget square tyres here you will be able to use all of the tyre on good road surfaces. We will spend six nights with our charming host where you are free to explore on your own, join one of our optional rideouts to the Cirque de Navacelles a true wonder and biking excellence, the Millau Bridge, the Viaduct de Garabit, Florac, Corniche de Cevennes or simply hire a canoe and chill out enjoying the sedate pace of life in this truly splendid part of forgotten France.

Note:

Mileage to our hotel from eurotunnel is approximately 570. We will use the motorway network to facilitate frequent comfort breaks and petrol stops for those of us with small tanks and limited range. It is worth remembering we have chosen this route as lots of French rural garages are not open at weekends and are therefore assured of fuel when we require it.
