After an early morning crossing with eurotunnel we will make our way to our hotel in the heart of the Normandy Beaches. A centrally located hotel in Normandy will give us opportunities for some fantastic days out. Visit Arromanches, Mulberry harbour, St Mere L’eglise, Merville Battery, Pegasus Bridge the list is endless. If history isn’t your scene then enjoy the quiet bendy roads of Normandy and their beautiful beaches. Alternatively you can just relax in the local bars and restaurants and recharge those batteries from a hectic UK lifestyle. Whatever you choose you are assured of a fantastic time in Normandy.
Note:
Mileage to our hotel from eurotunnel is approximately 230. We will use the motorway network to facilitate frequent comfort breaks and petrol stops for those of us with small tanks and limited range. It is worth remembering we have chosen this route as lots of French rural garages are not open at weekends and are therefore assured of fuel when we require it.
