After an early morning crossing with eurotunnel we will make our way to our first nights stay in France.

Following a good nights rest we continue to our destination, a converted Priory for a six night stay with Laurent & Sylvie Carrelas, where the roads and scenery just don’t come any better. You are free to explore on your own, join one of our optional rideouts to Pau a city with excellent shopping for the ladies!  Lourdes which attracts lots of visitors all year round. Alteratively try one or more of the numerous interesting and challenging passes of the Pyrenees.

Note:

Mileage to our hotel from eurotunnel is approximately 640. We will use the motorway network to facilitate frequent comfort breaks and petrol stops for those of us with small tanks and linited range. It is worth remembering we have chosen this route as lots of French rural garages are not open at weekends and are therefore assured of fuel when we require it.
