BASTOGNE
Highest mileages 220 on outward and return journey.
After an early morning crossing with eurotunnel we will make our way to our hotel in the heart of the Ardennes Forest. A centrally located hotel in Bastogne will give us opportunities for some fantastic days out. Visit some of the sites and memorials from the Band of Brothers 101st Airborne stand against the German forces in WW2, the list is endless. If history isn’t your scene then enjoy the quiet bendy roads of the Ardennes, famous with both German and Belgian bikers, it’s amazing just to watch these guys on their various machines!!! Alternatively you can just relax in the local bars and restaurants and recharge those batteries from a hectic UK lifestyle. Whatever you choose you are assured of a fantastic time in the Ardennes.
Note:
Mileage to our hotel from eurotunnel is approximately 220. We will use the motorway network to facilitate frequent comfort breaks and petrol stops for those of us with small tanks and limited range.
